These photos of a steampunk elevator have been popping up across the steampunk interweb locations, sadly, with no credits to the photographer or other source information.

On doing our own reverse research we have some “unconfirmed” information that the “Steam-powered elevator is, or was, in the house of Guard Captain S. Muyaki in St. Petersburg, Russia. This information has been sourced from the “D. I. Y. Tools blog, Homemade Tools.
