Handmade, one-of-a-kind Nixie Tube clock named Bracula.
Made by Laszlo of DilettArtWhatnot.
Laszlo’s idea is that if Maurizio Cattelan can tape a bunch of bananas to the wall and charge $120,000 for each banana, then his one-of-a-kind piece of Nixie Tube Clock Art that he spent a year working on is worth his asking price. And he has a point. The copper and brass construction of the Handmade, one-of-a-kind Nixie Tube Clock from Transuviania will last a lot longer than a bunch of Banners. It also comes with a spare set of Nixie Tubes. Unlike bananas.
And why has Laszlo Named the Handmade, one-of-a-kind Nixie Tube clock Bracula? He said it has something to do with the brass and copper used, but I also wonder if it may be a play on the name Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”, given its location.
