If like me, you are into anything Steampunk, you are going to love this post. If you are not sure what Steampunk is but like anything quirky, you will probably love this post. If you like Steampunk, quirky, and shoes, you will love this post.
What is Steampunk? I hear you cry.
The phrase Steampunk was heard for the first time in the mid to late Eighties. It started life and remains, in part, a sub jumar of science fiction. Steampunk is usually set in a reality where technology and ascetics are stuck in the Victorian age of steam.
As I said, “in part”, Steampunk is part of the Sci-Fi culture. But it is also a whole lot more. There is a cult following with fans worldwide dressing up in “Steampunk Fashion”, taking part in steampunk-themed events and collecting or even inventing steampunk artefacts.
So, tell me about the steampunk-themed shoes already!
Ya, sure. All of these lovely shoes I am showing here have been hand made to order in some way by various shop owners and artisans operating on Etsy’s online marketplace. They are decorated with different steampunk designs. Some hand-painted, some using themed fabric prints, some adorned with steampunk charms, and others finished with a mixture.
All of these lovely steampunk shoes are from my own Etsy Favourites List, “Steampunk Themed Shoes And Boots You Will Love”, available to see here.
