These steampunk mugs were wheel-thrown and then hand altered and trimmed and given hand modelled elements – switches, dials and controls, creatively devised using a combination of moulds, and household and office items such as the inside of a correction tape roller and pen lids, and screwdrivers – for a steampunk finish. After the bisque firing, the mug was glazed with tenmoku brown or lavender and the steampunk elements in antique bronze before the final glaze firing. A lovely item to hold and explore whilst supping your favourite beverage. The lavender mug is 10 cm high and the brown mug is 9 cm high.
