“”At most terrestrial men fancied there might be other men upon Mars, perhaps inferior to themselves and ready to welcome a missionary enterprise. Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us.”H. G. Whells- War Of The Worlds.
Steampunk Recycled Metal Alien Tripod.
Obviously based on H. G. Whells’s late nineteenth-century classic Science Fiction novel, “War Of The Worlds”, this art sculpture of the Martian Alien Fighting Machine Tripod by Kreatworks has been made from recycled metal materials.
Full of steampunk character and charm, the Steampunk Alien tripod is a great interpretation of Whell’s work that sends me back to the original story that tells the adventure of a Victorian Gernalist who travels to his fiance’s fathers house in London as he tries to avoid capture and imminent death, in the hands of the sluggish tentacled Martians.
